Body
Passport to Emory is a pre-departure onboarding program for F-1 and J-1 international students who will begin their undergraduate, graduate, or professional program at Emory in Fall 2025. This free, in-person event offers helpful information related to immigration, pre-departure tips, campus resources, cultural awareness, and so much more. Passport to Emory smooths the transition and prepares students for a successful Emory student experience.
The program includes:
- a presentation for both incoming students and their family members
- an opportunity to meet representatives from Emory University
- a networking break during which students and family members can connect with one another and current international students/alumni

June 4, 2025Passport to Emory: Hong Kong

Registration
Registration is required as space is limited. The registration link will be emailed in April with a deadline of May 18. Students will be able to register themselves and up to one guest. Location details and more program information will be sent in a confirmation email to those who register. Incoming F-1 and J-1 students who are not currently in Seoul, Hong Kong or Mumbai, but who are able to travel to attend one of Emory's Passport to Emory programs should email isss@emory.edu by May 15 to request registration details. Please note that attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event sites and any other expenses.
The Passport to Emory program is just one of the ways Emory University demonstrates its appreciation for the international students who choose to study at Emory and make Emory their home away from home. Students who are unable to attend this year’s Passport to Emory program in Mumbai, Hong Kong or Seoul will receive communications from ISSS and other campus partners over the coming months as they extend a warm welcome to all new international students. In the meantime, ISSS recommends reviewing the New Student section of the ISSS website. Students should also stay tuned for invitations to helpful webinars for incoming students and their family members.
