ISSS invites the entire Emory community to our annual Global Festival, hosted in collaboration with the International Student Leadership and Advocacy Board (ISLAB)! Learn about cultures from around the world through performances, games, and cultural booths hosted by our international students and scholars.

USCIS Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) unit can conduct both announced and unannounced inspections of the worksites.  The goals of site visits are to verify that the petitioning employer (e.g. Emory University) and foreign beneficiary (e.g. H-1B employee) are complying with the terms of the approved employment petition and, more generally, to raise awareness of compliance obligations among the employer community. These visits can occur in person, by phone, email or fax.  The site visit officer may visit with the employee, their supervisor, or ISSS.

The International Student Graduation Reception is an opportunity to celebrate undergraduate, graduate, and professional international students and their academic accomplishments. Our international graduates are also welcome to invite their loved ones to celebrate! ISSS provides professional portraits as our graduation gift to graduates. International students graduating in May will receive an invitation email from ISSS with a link to register.
